Trilogy NextGen Recognized for Private 5G Expertise as Finalist for Leading Lights Award

Leading Lights Awards 2024

Trilogy NextGen has been named among the best in the telecommunications industry as a finalist for the 20th anniversary Leading Lights Awards presented by Light Reading Magazine. These awards recognize the innovation, technical and market achievements of the rapidly changing global communications industry, based on subjective judging by an expert panel of independent judges and media editors.

Trilogy NextGen is recognized as a finalist for its Outstanding Use Case for Private Networks. Working together with Ericsson and Microsoft, Trilogy NextGen designed and deployed a private 5G network for Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) to support a range of advanced capabilities throughout a new 215,000-square-foot broadcast studio. With a fully integrated private 5G edge network and 5G-enabled cameras, Trilogy NextGen has enabled wireless capture of digital content with near real-time latency, reliable mobile communications for production crews, and mission-critical security operations for staff and emergency personnel.

In today’s competitive world of broadcasting, virtualized production environments, AI-generated imaging, remote streaming connectivity and other advanced digital technologies are key enablers for media and entertainment providers. With ubiquitous coverage, reliable ultra-low latency performance and high-capacity bandwidth, this broadcast center has attracted a new media network tenant, Merit Street Media™ from acclaimed television personality Dr. Phil McGraw.

“This honor demonstrates the value of the deep systems expertise and cutting-edge technologies that we bring to empower our clients’ business,” said Parag Shah, President, Trilogy NextGen. “The successful digital transformation of this new broadcast center sets the stage for the next wave of state-of-the-art innovation that is reinventing entertainment, enabling the creation of ever-more entertaining and informative experiences for audiences everywhere.”

“I want to congratulate all the finalists during this 20th anniversary of Light Reading’s Leading Lights awards program,” said Phil Harvey, Editor-in-Chief, Light Reading. “Our editors believe this group of finalists produces the technologies, ideas and networks that can impact the constantly evolving, highly competitive global communications industry.”
